Cookies we use

Our own pages do not set cookies, and we do not use advertising tools of our own. Our visitor statistics (Matomo, run on our hosting) work without cookies; see our privacy policy.

The only cookie we set ourselves is a strictly necessary sign-in cookie for our staff on the admin pages (hdf_admin). Visitors to the site never receive it.

Travelpayouts (affiliate partner)

Our pages load a script from Travelpayouts, the affiliate network through which we work with travel companies (except this page and our privacy policy). It counts visits to our site, which travel companies use to decide whether to work with us. We have switched off its features that change our pages, such as replacing links or opening offers in new tabs. The script sets a cookie:

• am_user_session: set by the Travelpayouts script to recognise a visit; it is not used by us.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

If we add features that use cookies, we will list each cookie here and change the date at the top.

Travel company websites

When you follow a link to a travel company, that company may set its own cookies, including cookies that record that you came from our site. Their cookie policy applies there.
